We reported to you yesterday of a passenger bus that plunged into a river along Sagamu-Ore expressway after skidding off a dual carriage way.

We can reliably inform you that The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) today pulled out the bus which said to be carrying about 21 passengers from the river at Ogbere-Ijebu, Ogun State.

The good news is, a pregnant woman and three other passengers miraculously survived the accident and has been taken to the hospital. They were said to have reached out for and clung to the branches of a tree as the bus lost control and began its fatal plunge into the river.

However, according to a statement by the FRSC, 12 corpses, comprising one male and 11 female, were pulled out of the bus while search for the remaining victims with local divers continues.
