SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS WIN 2012 WORLD SERIES IN CLEAN SWEEP

The San Francisco Giants have won the 2012 MLB World Series with a resounding 4-0 sweep of the Detroit Tigers. For the third time in franchise history, the Giants have won the Fall Classic in a whitewash and for them it is the first time since their organization has been based on the West Coast. Only one MLB franchise has registered more World Series ‘sweeps’.
